This sweet boiled wool skirt is part of Disana's new children’s collection. Disana has designed this skirt in a so that it doesn’t ride up while playing and running, and the extra-high knitted waistband makes sure that everything stays in place. This little skirt is also fitted with small pockets with plenty of room for everything your child might need. The knitted waistband is available in Disana's two-colour melange look, making it a perfect match for disana jackets, pullovers or striped leggings, and of course it will also match nicely with all of the favourite items in your child’s wardrobe. Disana's boiled wool is a very special natural fabric. Boiled wool is soft and light, so it is very comfortable for babies to wear. Boiled wool also protects against cold, is almost entirely windproof, and balances hot and cold temperatures. When wool is boiled, thousands of tiny air bubbles are trapped in by the material, forming an entirely natural barrier against hot and cold temperatures. The result is a fabric that keeps your baby snug and dry while letting your baby's skin breathe.
Made by disana, this skirt is 100% organic boiled virgin Merino wool. This wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cozy next to sensitive skin.

Care: Boiled wool articles are easy to care for. It should be cleaned very gently by hand. The lanolin contained in wool protects the fabric from dirt and harsh environments. If your boiled wool article does get dirty, you can shake or brush the dirt out very carefully. If the boiled wool becomes stinky, just leave the article out overnight to air out, or in the bathroom while you shower (the humidity from the shower will help foul smells to disappear and will smooth out wrinkles). If you do need to wash boiled wool, just wash by hand in tepid water using a mild wool wash. Do not wring, squeeze, or rub wool. Lay flat to dry. You can read more here about wool care. Write a reviewWe absolutely LOVE this skirt. It’s soft, warm, has a pocket (!!!!!) and slips on and off easy for layering. It’s a perfect layer for school during winter where ya never know if you’ll get too warm or be freezing inside. My daughter is average size 6.5yo and it fits her with room to grow next year. I think it fits a bit large. I sooooo wish they would make an adult version of this skirt!!

This skirt is just gorgeous! Runs true to regular sizing it seems. Small for Disana but true for average sizes. It is so soft and so cute and fits like the picture above On website. It’s stretchy and will fit for a few years I believe. A perfect layer of warmth that will still allow my kid to crawl around at school without tripping on a dress. With a pair of stretchy pants under she’ll be able to take off easily if she gets too hot. Ordering another one in a different color!
