My toddler is actually happy to wear these soft wool mittens. They seem to keep his hands warm and dry, without being bulky. We especially love the tether to prevent them from getting separated. I plan on shopping for more winter closet staples from this brand.

Live these gloves for my 3 year old keeps his hands warm but my one year old has the size two and his dont stay warm I think because they are to big and he mainly in the carriage on our walks in the cold and his hands are blowing in breeze

These are easy to get on and are thick. I like the string to keep them from getting lost. Warmer than the other pair of wool gloves we have and seem like they will hold up much better too. One mitten has a hole already in the corner where the thumb meets the rest of the glove, so that’s a little concerning and I hope it doesn’t widen. Only worn a few times and I don’t know if they came like that or it happened during wear. The other wool gloves I have from a different brand already have holes too though and much worse (they’re a thinner soft wool- probably wasn’t a good choice for our lifestyle). If these aren’t durable our farm kid will definitely find that out by the end of the winter. One plus of boiled wool I’ve found is if the outside gets dirty it brushes off when the dirt dries.

The quality is great, but the sizing is SO off. The 12-24 month do NOT fit my 20-month-old at ALL, which is so disappointing. She is around 40%ile, so not a tiny child. They might fit her in a year, maybe 2 :/

Tried to use them on our slightly bigger than average almost 2 year old and they are so, so huge on her. She pulls them off immediately. Really good quality, but we won't be able to use them for at least another year.

The wool mittens are very soft. I ordered the smaller pair for my 14 month old (the 0-12month no thumb ones) and they just fit. They should last this season. I’m also ordering the next size up because they are great quality.

Our 12 month old is in 18+ month clothing and has hands & feet to match. I bought the 2-4 year old size figuring they'd be big on him, but that we'd deal with it and they'd fit him longer.
Instead, we ended up giving the 2-4 year old size to our (very average) 6 year old who fits in them perfectly. She'll probably grow out of them by the end of the season, but at least someone will get to use them right away!
I then bought the 12-24 month size for our 12 month old, and they are still quite big on him. I'd expect they'll fit him until he's 3 or so, and then he'll get big sister's lightly used pair.
Quality is good, except that the string seemed haphazardly sewn on, inconsistent location. Fortunately this is on the smaller mittens, as our 6 year old has sensory issues and I'd expect this unnecessary difference in feel (what side of the wrist the string comes out on) to be an issue for her. Other than the string, the mittens are as expected and I hope to get plenty of use out of them before passing them along to another family someday.

Purchased the Bordeaux mittens to go with the boiled wool coat. Lovely combo. Sizing is good and it’s great that they come with a string for safekeeping. Quality is excellent. Look forward to using these this winter!

Just as described; the mittens are very beautiful and warm. It isn't cold enough for outdoor use yet but my 2 year old happily wears them around the house.

My daughter loved loved these mittens last year, so coming back to buy a smaller size for my youngest. These are excellent mittens! Only wish they had more sizes! They’re awesome!

This is my second purchase of these perfect mittens. When my grandson left his mittens at my house after Christmas holidays, I received call to overnight them. "They're his ONLY mittens!" This time I bought the bright yellow that you can see from the end of the block. I'm happy I can find mittens on a string just like I bought years ago for my sons.

I got the smaller size not realizing they don't have thumbs. My granddaughter has the next size up and they are too big, but wears them anyway. I'm returning the smaller ones.

Quality continues to be excellent with Disana products. My son is 3 and the 2T-4T fits his hands well enough for him to play in them for hours, but still with room to grow.

these are great but they run large. my daughter is almost 3, and the size 3 (2-4T) are still too big for her

They are so warm! And the quality is excellent. They were a little bigger than expected, but if you fold the ribbing and don't use the thumb space it works. At least it will last longer!

Warm and comfy for my 13 month old even in cold strong winds. He didn't try to pull them off which was surprising but even if so, they're connected with a string. He is a tall 13 month old yet these are super long on him in the 12-24 month size. They are thin enough to stay on, but there is about an inch of excess mitten beyond his fingers which is kinda funny.

We ordered the Curry color for my 12 month old son in the size 2 (12-24 months). The color is nice - a slightly muted yellow with a touch of green to it. The wool is wonderful - they're soft, well made and have kept his hands warm! We also love that they're on a string and, so far, he has really kept them on when we're in the stroller or carrier. Only issue is the sizing - they seem to run really large, which may be across the board with Disana products. I guess it's better than too small.. he'll probably get 2 more winters out of these!

Purchased 2 pair for my grandchildren. I grew up in a very cold climate, and we always had boiled wool mittens for the extremely cold winter. It retains body heat even when wet. Hard to beat that!

They go perfectly with her jacket. I love that it is attached with the string, makes it so easy for my daughter to keep them together. The size is just right and I may even get to use it for a couple more years. Shipping was pretty quick as well.

Haven't used these mittens yet but they are good quality and seem like they will keep my son's hands warm and dry this winter! They are a little big so make sure you check the size chart.

I bought these for my 1 year old and they are huge! (1-2 yr size) He also likes to pull them off and play with the strings:)
These are very warm and his hands ( when he actually wears them) are warm and dry.

The string is key for any set of kids mittens. These keep my daughter's hands warm and they just live in her winter jacket.

I had to complete my boiled wool set (hat & booties) with these mittens. I love them! They come up far enough on her arms to keep them on securely. They do keep her little hands warm on our walks. I did a size up (size 2) to have them used longer and I don't use the thumb hole (she's 11 months old). Not a big deal. Love the string to keep them together. Love them!

We purchased the gray wool mittens for our 15 month old. They are wonderful! They are soft, warm, and not bulky. We put them on her before putting on her coat and they stay on her hands with the help of coat.
Thank you!

These mittens are of excellent quality! I couldn't tell from the pictures whether or not they had thumb holes, but they do--which I was glad for. I couldn't think of a better option than these wool mittens for keeping hands warm. Absolutely love em'!

I bought 2 sets, One for my 4 year old and one for my 2 year old. I got the size 2 to 4 size for her and they fit her just right. For our 2 year old I got the 12-24 month size and they also fit great.
Very soft and you never have to worry about them getting lost because they are knitted togeher like the old fashioned kind.
I am so glad I got them for our kids.

I'll preface this review with the fact that I love these mittens...However I do wish they stayed on my 18 month old better. Perhaps this is an impossible request though. I agree with the other reviewer that these are quite big, although not cumbersome, and this might be a factor in the staying-on issue. Other than that they are thick, warm and beautiful and they never get lost. So basically everything you could ever want in a mitten.

These are soft, very warm, and I love that my little one can't lose either one since they're attached! I will say that they are larger than I was expecting. She's 15 mo and the size 2 is rather giant for her. However they still do the job of keeping her hands warm and, since there's room to grow, it looks like they'll fit for many more years.
