I measured several times based on the size chart before I purchased. I am 145lbs 5’3” 36b, 29 waist, 40” hip and usually wear a medium in tops and coats. I got this in an xsmall! It fits great, just like a medium. There is plenty of room still for me to fit a hoodie and a wool jacket underneath. My skin is very sensitive to regular wool so I was worried this might be itchy but it is not. It is not as soft as my merino Engel jacket but my only concern was that it not be itchy. It is thinner than I expected but it does keep me warm and is mostly windproof. I have not work in the rain or snow yet so I am unable to comment on the water resistance. Arm length will probably be short on taller people. The coat length on me hits right above my knees. It is extremely difficult to find a GOTS certified coat that is warm enough and not just made of cotton twill, so this was perfect since I wanted a coat that was organic, warm, had a hood, was longer, and was water resistant and this coat checked all those boxes. Thank you Little Spruce for carrying these kind of quality items.

I got this coat a little big because I was worried about the sleeve length. It fits well and Will leave some room for layering in the winter! Wish the material was a little thicker, though.
