Made by Engel, these leggings are made of 100% organic virgin merino wool. This wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cozy against baby's sensitive skin. The Merino sheep are organically raised without the use of pesticides on neither pastures nor animals.

These will last a long time as they stretch and grow with my daughter. She's 4 months and we cloth diaper with wool covers and these fit over all that. I do tuck them into her socks or else have a pair of cuffed pants over so they don't hike up when she's being worn. They will last for a few other babies too probably!

I really like the deep navy color and the how warm these leggings. They are on the thinner side which is nice for layering under other pants or using as pajamas. The waistband however, a 1/4" piece of elastic, is not very well constructed. Besides being very skinny the elastic doesn't appear to be sewn into the garment in a way that prevents it from twisting up.

These stretchy pants (12 mo size)fit my 8 mo twins great--one lean and one fuller, with plenty of room to grow. We use them as long underwear during these cold weather months and they easily fit beneath pants. They do shrink lenghwise significantly if you wash them in the wash machine (the label says to hand wash!)
