Merino wool is wonderful material because it is both breathable enough for summer and extremely warm for winter.  The mittens feature long sleeve bands and an attached string.  The mittens come in one size only, which should fit your baby from birth through around 1 1/2 years of age.  

Made by Engel, these mittens are 100% organic virgin Merino wool, certified organic by the International Association Natural Textile Industry (IVN) and the Global Organic Textile Standard.  This wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cozy against baby's sensitive skin.  The Merino sheep are organically raised without the use of pesticides on neither pastures nor animals.
