This beautiful, thick, organic soft wool fleece zippered jacket will keep you warm and cozy on even the coldest winter days.   Engel's thick, pure organic Merino virgin wool fleece is luxuriously soft and perfect for chilly days- a gorgeous, all-natural alternative to synthetic fleece!  Merino wool is wonderful material because it is both breathable enough for summer and extremely warm for winter.  The jacket has a high neck that zips all the way up, keeping your neck warm for cold days.   The jacket has large pockets lined with soft organic cotton.  

Made by Engel, this jacket is made from 100% organic virgin Merino wool fleece.  This wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cozy against baby's sensitive skin.  The Merino sheep are organically raised without the use of pesticides on neither pastures nor animals.

I am 145lbs 5’3” 36b 29” waist 40” hip. Typically wear a size medium and that is what I purchased in the black melange. Fits true to size and has enough room to fit a base layer and a thick hoodie underneath. The black melange is like a black/charcoal gray. The length hits me just below the hip. When they called this a “thick wool” jacket, they mean it! I was so impressed by how think this wool jacket is, it is so much thicker than the Disana wool parka I got at the same time. It is so soft and warm and could definitely be worn as a winter coat.

This jacket is soft and warm. Great weight for the cooler fall and spring weather. It runs a little big. I am normally a medium (5'4", 145lbs). I originally ordered a 42/44 and switched for a 38/40. The smaller size fits much better.
