These are the best organic and non-toxic socks out there. At first, the socks came off out son's feet in fewer than about three minutes. The easy fix was just folding the socks down once so both areas of sewn-in elastic threads are at the ankle. With this one simple trick, they stay on perfectly now. They are the only kind of socks (except his wool ones at night) he wears now and we love them. They are perfect for our wood floors and the silicone grips are no problem when the socks are worn inside shoes. They seem to run a bit big though. When my son first started wearing these, he was in a size 5 Soft Star shoes and over a year old, but wore the 6-12 month size for several more months. He's in a size 6 Soft Star shoe now, almost two years old and wearing the 12-18 month size. We've only had one pair wear through at the toe, but I think some thread and a needle should do the trick. We expect that these socks (even with the many months my son spends in a size) will last us through at least one more child.
